Corporate Tax Registration Deadline in UAE, Complete Guide & Services

The corporate tax registration deadline in the UAE is an important compliance factor to any businesses that are conducted within the country. As the Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 has incorporated corporate tax applicable since June 1, 2023, the UAE established firm deadlines that businesses should register with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). Failure to meet these deadlines may attract a high penalty even when your business does not have any taxable returns or is tax-exempt.

Albab Tax, as a business, is good at assisting businesses and those individuals who wish to register their business to experience their corporate tax registration without a penalty.

Why Corporate Tax Registration Deadlines are Important

Corporate tax registration has been compulsory by the FTA in:

  • Mainland companies.

  • Free zone companies (both 0% and non 0% tax companies).

  • Lawful establishments that may take the shape of a permanent establishment or develop a nexus in the UAE by a foreign entity.

  • Natural persons (freelancers or sole proprietors) whose annual UAE business related income goes beyond AED 1 million.

In the event of the failure of registration within the time reflected, a set fine of AED 10,000 is created. This fine follows regardless of whether you make no taxable income or you are under an exemption.
